Monster In My Garden™ is the creator of Gila monster replicas that are designed to add visual interest to natural Southwest garden settings. Intended as garden decor, models are cast with a strong die stone and USG statuary plasters. The finished model is durable and resistant to the effects of weather. Colors are achieved using a high quality exterior paint. Gila replicas are not mass-produced. Each is hand-crafted and carefully painted to mimic variations in dorsal patterns that naturally occur in both subspecies... (H. s. suspectum and H. s. cinctum). No two replicas bear the exact same dorsal pattern...as is true with living Gilas.

Much can be said about seeing a captive Gila monster close up. However, such controlled observations do not compare to an actual sighting of a Gila in it's natural habitat.
